High School Boys

At Mahtomedi, lacrosse is more than just a sport — it’s a tradition of teamwork, dedication, and school pride. Our athletes put in the hard work on and off the field to sharpen their skills, support one another, and represent Mahtomedi with integrity and heart.

Our Lacrosse program emphasizes growth, both as players and as individuals. Through discipline, commitment, and competition, our athletes learn lessons that last long after the final whistle.

We are grateful for the incredible support from our families, coaches, and community. Together, we look forward to another exciting season filled with challenges, victories, and lifelong memories.

Our official season runs from late March through early June.

Year-Round Opportunities

Players have plenty of ways to stay active and build their skills in the off-season, including:

Summer Zephyr Elite (June–July)
Fall League (September–October)
Winter League & Training (January–early March)

Where

Practice Locations

Team practices are held at the Mahtomedi Varsity Stadium.

Captain-led practices are typically hosted at the Conway Winter Sports Dome and the TCO Sports Garden.

Practice Schedule

In-Season: Practices are held Monday through Friday.
Off-Season: (ZE, Fall & Winter League) Athletes typically train 1–2 times per week to maintain skills and conditioning for these leagues.

Game Schedules

In-Season: Regular game schedule runs during the spring season.
Off-Season:
Zephyr Elite: Double-header games on Wednesday evenings
Fall & Winter Leagues: Games played on Sundays

Jerseys

Player Gear

Mahtomedi High School Lacrosse supplies each player with a bag, helmet, jerseys (home & away), shorts (home & away), and a shooting shirt. Jerseys are issued at the start of the season and collected at the end.

Extra Costs

Additional Opportunities & Costs

Beyond the regular season, players may choose to participate in extra programs such as Zephyr Elite (Summer), Fall League, Winter League, and Winter Training, which involve additional costs.
